Elections

The Elections Committee consists of one representative from each IAFC division. The committee administers the elections process set forth in Section III of the IAFC Constitution and Bylaws, including onsite elections at Fire-Rescue International (FRI) and conducting all balloting.

2024 IAFC unofficial election results

The IAFC Elections Committee, Results Subcommittee have certified the unofficial results of the 2024 IAFC election. The election results remain unofficial until presented as official at FRI in Dallas by the IAFC Elections Committee. When you see the term “unexercised”, this means that a member returned a valid ballot, but chose not to vote in that category.

~~February 1~~	Candidates submit documentation to Elections Committee.
~~February 1~~	Proposed changes to Constitution and Bylaws (CBL) submitted to CEO/Executive Director.
~~February 1~~	Proposed changes to division and section bylaws due to CEO/Executive Director.
~~May 5~~	Proposed constitutional changes on elections website.
~~May 14~~	Voting opens (officer elections & CBL amendments).
~~June 18~~	Voting ends.
~~July 12~~ June 20	Unofficial results shared with membership.
August 15	Official results presented at IAFC Business meeting.
August 15	Constitution, Bylaws and Resolution Committee report at IAFC Business meeting.
August 16	Installation of officers at General Session.
