Rail Crossing Locator Mobile App

For the first responder community, the Rail Crossing Locator is a planning tool. Users enter a specific location and the app locate highway-grade crossings in their area and important information, such as the physical characteristics of a crossing and the type of traffic control devices used.

Besides capturing planning information, the app allows users to report information about grade crossings to the FRA to ensure the most accurate and up-to-date information is available to the public.

This app is available through the Apple Store (iPhones, iPads) and the Google Play website (Android phones, tablets). For further information visit www.fra.dot.gov/eLib.
