The National Search and Rescue Geospatial Coordination (NSARGC) Group provides national leadership for the integration of geospatial information, processes, technology, and systems into all phases of search and rescue. This includes the development and promotion of:

  • Geospatial coordination before, during, and after search and rescue incidents
  • Geospatial standards and tools
  • Trusted geospatial data to support SAR operations
  • Training on geospatial tools and processes
  • Development of geospatial capabilities in the field
