EMS Section Board Elections: Call for Candidates

Interested members of the IAFC’s EMS Section are invited to declare their candidacies for the EMS Section Board as there will be two openings this spring:

EMS Section Chair
EMS Section Director-at-Large

Interested candidates are required to declare their candidacy by 8 PM (Eastern) on February 1, 2025, by submitting a candidate platform (not to exceed 350 words), profile (not to exceed 100 words), and Letter of Intent to Seek Office to the EMS Section Elections Committee through the EMS Section Staff Liaison, Ken LaSala.

Any member interested in serving on the EMS Section Board must be a member in good standing with both the IAFC and the EMS Section. Candidates for the office of Chair must have been elected to the Executive Committee for at least one year.

The EMS Section Candidates’ Manual has model versions of the platform, profile, and letter of intent. It also has a timeline of necessary dates, including the February 1 deadline for declarations of candidacy.
