IAFC's Career Center has recently launched updates to enhance the user interface. The enhancements provide users with:
- Easy access to featured companies, jobs, and a robust suite of new career tools designed to support members' career success.
- Career advice, a section with updated content focused on finding your next job, and tips on how to be successful, as well as IAFC produced content focused on preparing for advancement and resources for new chiefs.
- New career tools include:
- Career Guides that utilize data and AI technology. This tool delivers substantial insights into an array of fire service jobs, including necessary skills and expertise, salary insights, job descriptions, common interview questions and more.
- Interview Coach, an AI powered tool that allows IAFC members to input a job title, job description, company, and select a level of interview difficulty and receive a tailored set of interview questions they can use to prepare and ace job interviews.
- Offer Analyzer, a tool that allows IAFC members to evaluate a job offer, see if it is competitive, and tap into easy-to-use templates for negotiation.
