SAVER Market Survey Report Published: Incident Management Software

Results are published from NUSTL’s market survey of Incident Management Software (IMS) for Emergency Response. Emergency management, fire service, law enforcement, emergency medical services, and other first response agencies use IMS for incident planning, multiagency coordination, resource allocation, and asset tracking.

The purpose of this market survey report is to provide emergency responders with information that will guide response agencies in making operational and procurement decisions. All products included in this report are commercially available, incorporate geographic information systems (GIS), and operate on desktop and mobile devices. The survey identified 38 products that span a wide range of features and deployment options. The products commonly incorporate functions for sharing map-based information, tracking vehicle locations, collaborating, and event logging, and have various configuration options, including software as a service, standalone installations, and mobile client software with a cloud or dedicated backend server.
