Through a FEMA SAFER grant in partnership with the IAFC's Volunteer Combination Officers Section, the IAFC's National Workforce Solutions program is offering $5,000 scholarships to 20 volunteer and combination fire departments across the country to produce a fire camp to help with recruitment efforts within their community. Preference will be given to departments who are using the fire camp to recruit women, minorities, and other underrepresented groups into their department.
This scholarship will be awarded by reimbursement for eligible fire camp expenses. Your award will be reimbursed when the required documentation has been submitted and approved, you can select to be reimbursed in up to three installments.
