The Assistant Secretary of Preparedness and Response at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has announced a new website to be a one-stop-shop that provides information and addresses technical assistance (TA) needs of healthcare professionals, emergency managers, and public health practitioners. The purpose of the ASPR TRACIE site is to work with subject matter experts to distill virtual resources of information into vetted, concise, and actionable pieces and provide direct TA to our stakeholders who serve our nation’s communities.
The COVID-19 resource page includes 20 resource collections and plans, tools, and templates that incorporate the most current information available to help respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. The site also has a catalog of technical resources for other disasters medical, health care, and public health preparedness materials, as well as the ability to request direct technical assistance.
Fire and EMS chiefs are encouraged to review this website and bookmark it as appropriate.
