The IAFC is proud to announce our partnership with the Dubai Civil Defense on the Billion Readiness Initiative project. This project funded by the Dubai Civil Defense is aimed at reaching one Billion People in two years to train the public and first responders on fire safety. Dubai Civil Defense proposes the launch of the "Billion Readiness Campaign" in collaboration with leading firefighting organizations worldwide. This initiative aims to empower communities by raising awareness among one billion people starting from September 2024 through 2026, with the goal of increasing fire safety knowledge and significantly reducing fire incidents. This global effort will ultimately contribute to enhancing the quality of life and ensuring better safety standards worldwide. A global initiative will provide humanitarian aid and train 1 billion people worldwide. The goal is to enhance security and safety globally, reduce risks, and improve the safety of communities across all regions. Believing that this initiative will change the lives of billions of people around the world and leave a lasting impact on the hearts of people globally, we look forward to your generous support to leave a permanent mark in the hearts of people and achieve a vision that surpasses borders.
The IAFC will participate by submitting quarterly reports on our outreach to our members and partners. In addition, we are asking for all fire services to contribute through a short survey on a quarterly basis on their individual agency level. The survey will capture the types of outreach agencies are doing and to how many individuals you reach.
