Emmitsburg, Maryland – October 10, 2023 – Fire Chief John S. Butler, International Association of Fire Chiefs President and Fire Chief, Fairfax Fire and Rescue Department, joined top leaders and decision-makers at the prestigious Summit on Fire Prevention and Control hosted by the U.S. Fire Administration on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
The Summit on Fire Prevention and Control included key representatives from federal government agencies and a virtual audience of up to 2,500 fire service professionals nationwide. It served as a pivotal platform for exchanging ideas and forging connections among fire service leaders, government officials, and professionals.
