Emergency Services Consulting International (ESCI), the consulting arm of the
International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), announced today a significant expansion of its services and product line with the acquisition of Fields Consulting Group.
Founded in 1992, Fields Consulting Group is dedicated to providing clients with validated, state-of-the-art promotional testing and training programs for law enforcement, fire and EMS agencies nationwide. ESCI has acquired Fields Consulting Group to add to its existing suite of products, which includes master and strategic planning, cooperation and integration feasibility studies, service delivery options analysis, staffing analysis, standards of cover and more. The human capital expertise brought by Fields Group will also enhance ESCI’s core product line with a greater depth of analysis on the cultural aspects of change in the fire service.
ESCI CEO Sheldon Gilbert said today:
I am excited to build upon ESCI’s 40 years of high-quality consulting services with this innovative and forward leaning acquisition. With the addition of Dr. Fields and her team of industrial psychologists, ESCI adds an additional 25 years of experience in human capital services that specialize in fire, law enforcement and EMS behavioral and human-resource services. This is a major step in creating the next generation of consulting services that provides a holistic organizational and human-capital approach to emergency-services consulting. ESCI has combined decades of experience in public-safety consulting with our new line of human-capital services to provide a product line, expertise and capabilities not seen elsewhere in our industry. I look forward to sharing with you what ESCI can do for you, your organization and your community.
