U.S. DOL Opinion Letter: Reissued Letter on Hiring Volunteers as Contractors 2018

In 2018 the U.S. DOL reissued its opinion letter FLSA2009-35, this was after they had withdrawn it for further consideration. The reissued letter discusses volunteer fire company contracting for paid EMTs – joint employment and volunteer status.
