Motivation of Volunteer Firefighters in Combination Fire Departments

VISION: This research paper prepared by Chief Silva of the Meridian Fire Department, Meridian, ID as part of his EFOP. The paper describes the factors that motivate on-call and part time members in combination fire departments. The paper concludes with recommendations to improve or bolster these factors in an effort to keep these types of members.
