Chief's A-RIT (Administrative Rapid Information Tool)
The Chief's A-RIT (Administrative Rapid Information Tool) is an interactive, digital guide to deliver education, training and guidance on administrative tasks in the volunteer fire service. It includes resources to help you understand and apply the non-operational aspects of running a volunteer fire department.
Two Ways to Use the Chief's A-RIT
- Create your own, personalized A-RIT online.
- Login using your IAFC member account or create an A-RIT login.
- Look through the resources and choose those that will help you and your department.
- Add them to your A-RIT plan.
- Come back to your plan as often as you want to continue working on it.
- Check them off your plan as you finish them (they'll still be available though, if you need to reference later).
- View the A-RIT resources without a login.
