This webinar is an informational overview to discuss the Indiana Fire Chiefs Association's SAFER grant program. This webinar will also provide information on the application/selection process of ten pilot departments.

Panelists
- Megan Thiele Firefighter/ EMT with Decatur Township Fire Department. She holds a Paramedic License and an MA in Threat and Response Management from the University of Chicago. Megan has also worked for the Indiana Fire Chiefs Association for four years. She is a member of the District 7 Incident Management Team as part of the Planning Section. In addition, she is a member of the Indiana Safety Educators (ISE), All-Hazards Incident Management Association (AHIMA), and the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT). Megan is also a board member for the George T. Goodwin Community Center and is active in her community.
- Shakir Mohammed is a Program Manager within Community Solutions, a division of the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC). Before joining the IAFC, Shakir has worked with the City of Pittsburgh as a Business Development Representative. Shakir holds an MA in International Development at the University of Pittsburgh.
