Program Partners
Grants
Many of IAFC programs are financially and contextually supported by federal agencies and private partners through grants and cooperative agreements. This financial support is one way in which IAFC ensures it can provide free or low costs access to high-quality tools, resources and education directly to the fire and emergency service community or to otherwise directly make firefighters’ and EMTs’ jobs easier.

Collaborative Relationships
IAFC has a number of collaborative relationships which contribute to the success of our programs. Collaboration takes many forms which can range from formal partnership agreements on long-term projects, to a one-on-one feedback session with a subject matter expert. Regardless of the size and scope of our work with those outside the IAFC, they each bring important knowledge, access to stakeholder communities, and the ability to communicate effectively that makes our programs a success.
